Daily Itinerary
Day 1—Thursday, July 11
Philadelphia
Depart this morning for Philadelphia. On our way to dinner and our hotel, we’ll see our first glimpse of this historical city as we tie in the freedoms that made the Restoration of the Gospel possible. Accommodations: Holiday Inn. (D) (D)

Day 2— Friday, July 12
Philadelphia/Allentown
Early this morning we begin our exciting tour of Philadelphia. We’ll see Independence Hall, the Liberty Bell, the grave site of Benjamin Franklin, the first bank of the United States, and Carpenter’s Hall. After lunch we visit the Betsy Ross home and Valley Forge. Accommodations: Best Western Inn and Suites. (B,D)

Day 3—Saturday, July 13
Harmony/Fayette/Palmyra
Today we depart for Palmyra to witness the highlight of our tour, “The Hill Cumorah Pageant.” Enroute we’ll visit Harmony, PA., the site of the restoration of the Aaronic Priesthood and the Peter Whitmer Farm where the Church was was organized on April 6, 1830. Accommodations: Woodcliff Hotel. (B)

Day 4—Sunday, July 14
Palmyra
Following Sacrament meeing we’ll spend time in the Sacred Grove and reflect on the special events that took place here. Next we’ll visit the restored Joseph Smith, Sr. home and farm including the restored log cabin where the Smith family lived at the time of the first vision and angel Moroni's visit to the Prophet. We’ll see the Palmyra Temple and talk about the importance of this modern-day temple in this historic and sacred place. Next, the Grandin Printing Complex where the first Book of Mormon was printed and then the grave site of Alvin Smith, eldest brother of Joseph Smith. Accommodations: Woodcliff Hotel.(B,L,D)

Day 5—Monday, July 15
Niagara Falls/Kirtland
Today we continue our journey to Niagara Falls, the oldest state park in the USA. We’ll board the Maid of the Mist boat which passes directly in front of the falls and enters Horseshoe Basin. This is a fun activity you don’t want to miss! After free time for lunch and shopping we travel to Kirtland, OH. Accommodations: Radisson Hotel. (B,D)

Day 6—Tuesday, July 16
Kirtland
This morning we’ll visit the Kirtland Temple. Relative to the meager resources of the Saints at the time, the Kirtland Temple is probably the most costly temple ever constructed by the church. Next we’ll see the Temple Quarry and have a picnic lunch. We will spend the afternoon visiting the Historic Kirtland village including; the LDS Visitor’s Center, the Whitney Home and Store, the Johnson Inn, the Ashery, and Sawmill. Accommodations: Radisson hotel. (B,L,D)

Day 7—Wednesday, July 17
Hiram/Home
We depart this morning for Hiram, OH to visit the John Johnson Farm. It was at the Johnson farm that Joseph Smith received the vision of the three degrees of glory. We conclude our tour with a late afternoon flight home and a better appreciation for the life of the Prophet Joseph and the early saints. (B)
