Daily Itinerary
Day 1—Tuesday, October 9
Salt Lake City/Palmyra
We depart Salt Lake City this morning for Rochester, NY. We’ll get acquainted with our group at dinner as we look forward to the trip ahead. Accommodations: The Palmyra Inn. (D)

Day 2— Wednesday, October 10
Palmyra
Early this morning we’ll visit the Sacred Grove and reflect on the special events that took place here. Next we’ll see the restored Joseph Smith Sr. home and farm including the log cabin where Moroni first appeared to Joseph Smith. Next, we’ll stop at the E. B. Grandin Building where the Book of Mormon was printed and then we’ll see the grave site of Alvin Smith, eldest brother of Joseph Smith. After lunch see the Hill Cumorah and Visitor’s Center then we’ll travel to Fayette, NY to the Peter Whitmer Farm where the church was organized on April 6, 1830. Accommodations: Palmyra Inn. (B,D)

Day 3—Thursday, October 11
Palmyra/Niagara Falls/Kirtland
Today we continue our journey to Niagara Falls, the oldest state park in the USA. We’ll board the Maid of the Mist boat which passes directly in front of the falls and enters Horseshoe Basin. This is a fun activity you don’t want to miss! After free time for lunch and shopping we travel to Kirtland, OH. Accommodations: Radisson Hotel. (B,D)

Day 4—Friday, October 12
Kirtland
This morning we’ll visit the Kirtland Temple. Relative to the meager resources of the Saints at the time, the Kirtland Temple is probably the most costly temple ever constructed by the church. Next we’ll see the Temple Quarry and have a picnic lunch. We will spend the afternoon visiting the Morley Farm and Historic Kirtland village including; the LDS Visitor’s Center, the Whitney Home and Store, the Johnson Inn, the Ashery, and Sawmill. Accommodations: Radisson hotel. (B,L,D)

Day 5—Saturday, October 13
Kirtland/Hiram/Salt Lake City
We depart this morning for Hiram, OH to visit the John Johnson Farm. It was at the Johnson farm that Joseph Smith received the vision of the three degrees of glory. We conclude our tour with a late afternoon flight home. (B)
