You will see an ancient wall and the remains of a Byzantine basilica. Travel to Sardis, another of the Seven Churches of Revelation. Nearby we visit the Virgin Mary's House on a wooded hilltop where it was miraculously discovered. This famous city was the capital of the Asia Province and the site of one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, the great Temple of Artemis (called Diana by the Romans).
